Edited this and posted on my blog sometime ago, but didn't submit to dA, cos I wasn't sure if it was overly edited. Somehow though, I like this photo. The pose, the dark and saturated colours, the graininess, Hew's expression (or lackthereof).
I think the scariest people are the ones you don't expect to be scary. Maybe I'm just being overly cynical, and pessimistic, but I can't help but think about such things sometimes. The people who are always scary are still damn scary, but at least you expect it and got ready for it. I guess Hew's like that, because so far he seems to be the good twin, and me being me, all pessimistic and cynical, expects him to start dishing out shit soon.
But I guess you can also read the photo another way: that Sion (those are his hands) is the monster, and Hew is the good guy, if you kind of think of them being twins, and consider twins as 1 entity. *Shall not overanalyse my own photos.*
Thank you! I'm glad you love it I think that applies to almost any kinds of people. Scariness is one of them. I'm always at a lost of what to do when someone I don't expect to cry cries, though at least I guess that's more natural than the unexpected scary side?
I love the idea behind this, the explanation was just the right length and the title is awesome. Plus the graininess and saturated colors are just perfect. It has the makings of being a horror movie poster, if you don't mind me saying.
Thank you! To tell the truth, I rewrote the explanation a few times to fit the title. It's the only part of my description that I spend time editing, haha. And I was going for a sort of horror movie poster effect, so I'm glad you think so!
